The Missouri Republican Party (MRP) respects the privacy of all users of our Web site, Web-based software products and related online services. MRP is committed to honoring and protecting the privacy of our clients' lists and data, as well as the personal information of their donors, supporters, volunteers, and Web site visitors.

Information Collection and Use

We collect the domain name and e-mail address (where possible) of visitors to our website, the e-mail addresses of those who communicate with us via e-mail, aggregate information on what pages visitors access or visit, user-specific information on what pages visitors access or visit, information volunteered by the visitor, such as survey information and/or site registrations, name and address, telephone number, etc.

We use cookies to record session information.

Use of Collected Information

The information we collect may be: used to improve the content of our Web site; used to customize the content and/or layout of our page for each individual visitor; used to notify consumers about updates to our Web site; disclosed when legally required to do so at the request of governmental authorities conducting an investigation; to verify or enforce compliance with the policies governing our website and applicable laws; or to protect against misuse or unauthorized use of our website.

Persons who supply us with their telephone numbers or e-mail addresses online may receive contact from us regarding online activity or with information regarding new programs or upcoming events. If you do not wish to receive such telephone calls or e-mail messages, please let us know by contacting us using the information below.

If you are a volunteer using the Virtual Precinct interface:

All voter data that exists in the Virtual Precinct program was acquired from the publicly-accessible voter file provided by the Missouri Secretary of State and from other means of data collection.

Any data you enter in the software as well as any data specific to your e-mail list or volunteer sign-ups become the property of MRP and the Republican National Committee (RNC) and will be used by the RNC, the MRP, and our authorized users for election-related purposes.

MRP makes every effort to follow industry standard security measures to prevent the loss, misuse or alteration of the information under our control. We do not sell, trade, exchange, or reveal to anyone not specified in these usage terms the specific or individual-level information in any data you provide us.

We may, from time to time, analyze program data and usage statistics at an to help us improve our performance and program offerings, to describe our service to prospective volunteers and other third parties. In this process, third parties never have access to the specific information in your virtual precinct.

What information does MRP collect about you and what do we do with it?

When you create a Virtual Precinct account you will be asked to submit your name, address, phone number, e-mail address and other contact information. That information is stored in a database on MRP’s servers, which are connected to the Republican National Committee’s GOP Data Center, that can be accessed only by authorized users.

The transmission of this information is encrypted using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology.

To ensure compliance with the user terms and conditions, all user activity on the Virtual Precinct web-program is tracked and monitored by site administrators.

Does MRP disclose any of your personal information?

MRP does not sell, trade, exchange, or reveal individual information to any third parties other than as described above.

Will MRP use Virtual Precinct data for direct mailings to you?

MRP may contact the people in Virtual Precinct databases for any purpose it deems appropriate. You may, however, also receive contact from volunteers operating on the Virtual Precinct communication interface.

The following applies to everyone:


Database access is only granted to employees who require it for updating or maintaining the data and servers. All sensitive information such as password information is passed through a secure server using SSL encryption and, if stored locally, is encrypted in the database.


Certain features of our services require that each Web page recognize your entire visit and remember which steps you have taken-this is called session tracking. MRP uses cookies, or a functionally equivalent technology, to track sessions. Session tracking and the use of cookies help make your use of the service more efficient and seamless.

MRP does not use cookies or the information obtained through cookies for any purpose unrelated to your activities on our Web pages. MRP does not obtain or store personal information about you (such as your name, address, telephone number, or social security number) through the use of cookies.

Google Adsense

Some of the ads may be served by Google. Google’s use of the DART cookie enables it to serve ads to Users based on their visit to our Site and other sites on the Internet. DART uses “non personally identifiable information” and does NOT track personal information about you, such as your name, email address, physical address, etc. You may opt out of the use of the DART cookie by visiting the Google ad and content network privacy policy at http://www.google.com/privacy_ads.html

Notwithstanding the above, we reserve the right to disclose data as applicable, if we are under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with any legal obligation, or in order to enforce or apply our Terms and other agreements; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of MRP, our customers, or others.


Your use of our web-based software and services constitutes your consent to and your agreement with this Privacy Statement. If you do not agree to this policy, then you are not permitted to use our software or services.

MRP reserves the right at any time and without notice to change this privacy policy simply by posting the change on our website, so users are encouraged to review this page on a regular basis.
